Reason of TCS 35 days bench policy is to simply layoff 40k people,that increases profit margin,investor trust and c level executive salary.

Are they going to layoff from on-site ? I guess not. This is classic colonial mindset. It is easy to exploit Indians and there are no strict labor laws and the company knows it.let them layoff foreign employees and we will see how it goes.
It's already done in last 12 months
Expats were send back to India and local were fired ....
Now only essential required force left at onsite
Another thing if no one saw the news. Tata Sons Chairman's tenure is extended by Another 5 years by the board

it is high time people start boycotting all Tata products- Tanishq, Air India, Chroma, Nexon cars, Zudio, etc even Tata salt for such policies. Exploited labour with low salaries and now throwing them out. TCS spoilt the entire IT industry by bringing lowly folks from BPS and billing them as IT workforce at offshore locations in the name of upgrading career ! the company cheated both sides - the customer and the employees, and earned their profits, managers their commission. Unethical. Stop buying all Tata produces goods and services. The group has lost all their ethics and values ever since Ratan Tata took too.illneasz and now after his death the chairman and his covers is showing the true fangs!
TCS revenue per employee is 49k usd vs Infosys 60k usd.
Unless they reduce headcount by 1 lakh, they won't make Infosys level money.
Associates on bench won't be allocated to Projects also. It's just an eye wash that some group will assist the associates on bench with proj allocation. It's all farcial and deliberate. I am a layman and don't understand how profit margins can be increased. On Short term the numbers may increase. But what I don't understand is how Investors sentiment will be increased. Sooner or later the cat will be out of the den and the reality will be out. Don't know how it plays out.
It will take at least a few quarters to change investor mindset.
