Really confused why AI should do my thinking

We all know the Chatbots and AI apps are behaving like our creative partners as well as helping us code and find answers. But in the field of business development, where there is no single way of success, the AI gives answers that are generic af. In the aspect of the end user, it’s highly unfair for AI to do your thinking which ideally you should do to arrive at a conclusion after brainstorming.

Before learning about the technical backdrop of AI, ML, I had thought AI would bring different aspects of thinking since it takes data from so many other users and trains its models, but the more I use it, the more generic answers I get, which is expected, but that just increases brain rot. I'm confused about how much to indulge myself in using AI.

Working in the AI industry is just getting scarier cause nobody is drawing a line between which uses of AI are really useful vs which ones are made up. Will there be a day when I wake up and people suddenly stop using what I worked for?
