Real reason why managing a Baby is a painful
- Baby doesn’t sleep, cries no matter what you do - daily

- You finally sleep at 4am in morning - frustrated

- Cost of Baby milk powder - 1000Rs per 2 weeks
- Baby medicines Vitamin D, Iron, Colic - 1000Rs per month
- If C-section is done, good luck. The mother has to recover for 6 months. Take care of mother and baby both. The father is squeezed.
- Once baby sleeps, you are exhausted, but now you have house or office work
- Baby can wake and start crying randomly
- Wash baby bottles without fail - daily
- Change diaper every 3hrs without fail - daily
- Wash baby bottles without fail - daily
- Baby gets bored, cries again Hire a nanny, worry about nanny’s hygiene Nanny touches baby’s mouth, get pissed off Nanny works for 1 month, leaves the job without informing Monitor nanny 12hrs every day Nanny doesn’t understand your language Nanny doesn’t follow instructions Nanny takes leave without informing, your plans go for a toss and you have to do the work GrandParents are too old manage baby, can’t even walk without a stick GrandParents are undependable and get fed up with baby easily GrandParents remember that they had chahcis and maasis to help with baby duties For mothers living in a Tier 1 city, taking a 1yr break from work is unadvisable Mothers who go on a break for more than a 1yr can’t crack interviews
I haven’t covered the entire list TBH. You feel cheated about the idea of having a baby vs reality. You question your parents why didn’t they tell you these details beforehand. You get to hear some of the most unacceptable answers.
I LOVE my kid 🫤 but hate this cost.
When my kid grows up I wil make sure that it is not mislead by ads and incompetent parents/relatives.
I hope others make decisions more wisely.
