What is the difference between “Ready Now” and “Promote Now”? If a talent lead marks someone as “Promote Now” in a Talent Lead Discussion, can it later be changed to “Ready Now” in a Group Lead Discussion - or even at a later stage? Who has the authority to make such a change? And how can this be prevented to ensure a smoother promotion process for a reportee?
Yes it can be changed later, by your N+1 and above. There is no way to prevent it at your end, but if your manager or SM is fighting put right and there is sufficient budget it can be prevented
Who is N+1? The manager and MD and Talent Lead and HR Partner have all been informed. Before the talent lead discussion All mentioned they will try. Who among them can change the rating as this is not at all transparent.
Final decision is by HR, Accenture has limited promotion slots, so if the recommendation is more than the slot they will change it.
