I have the 390 ADV 2023 . Amazing Experience . Before 4000 rpm , it behaves like a 100 cc bike and will stall if you dont time your shifts , After 4000 rpm its wild , Easily cruises at 135 kmph . Higher the speed , More Refined the bike becomes

The Electronics have saved me many times , esp the cornering ABS . MTC is bit intrusive but helpful in gravel or rough patches . Quickshifter works like a charm after 3rd gear and helpful in long rides

I have done like 640kms in a single day and no back pains or discomfort .

Adv 390. Himalayan has the fuel pump very close to engine and issues have been reported as well. Adv 390 for reliability and performance anyday

So it’s not advised to have fuel pump close to engine?

More cos if the overheating issues and some incidents have been reported around fuel pump burning cos of engine heat and overall safety risk. Plus engine stalling cos of the legacy himalayan overheating issue

390 adv is a solid bike. One friend owns it and we have done the Delhi Jaipur circuit twice on it.

Himalayan, Triumph, KTM - all toys for rich brats. Real men ride on Indian roads with Bajaj Chetak. "Paisa hai par akal nahi?" What's your budget?

For Bike and auto enthusiasts!!

I am a noob at bike but have some disposable $$ to put into a good bike. The current idea is to go for a decent bike which isn't too much over the top. The budget goes from 2lakh to 5 lakh. It isn't a rational buy but a emotional buy.
