
Ratings/Band given for female employee going for ML is unfair
#vent post Last year from March last week I was on ML. Until I was on leave I literally gave my best used to stretch and complete all the tasks given to me. Inspite of that I got Band c. It was so unfair and since I was on ML when the band was released and I was not in a position to fight back. I joined back to work on Dec 2024. Since there was no opening in the current project for development so from Jan I moved to a different project. Now since I am back from maternity leave again my rating is 3.9 and new project as well since I have joined only on Jan they have given me 3.8 so which means again the band is going to be bad.
We struggle so hard to maintain a balance between work and maintaining and taking care of a child. And accomplish all the tasks assigned on time still our.efforts are considered a waste.
I would have felt better if I had used that time before going to ML by taking enough rest and not stressing myself.

For some being treated unfair, some get unfair advantage during ML as well. Things go both ways. But these can't be helped. That's how the world works unfortunately. World is not fair always.
