Rant: Toxic manager
Get this, my manager said that I have an attitude problem just because I set my boundaries with my work.
So earlier I was assigned "temporarily" to extra curricular activity for my portfolio. Naive and stupid me thought that it would just be temporary as mentioned in the email. But turns out now I'm the full time labor for 2 projects.
So recently, I told my manager that I don't want to work on the extra initiatives as they don't add value to my work. And behind my back he goes ahead and tells that I have an attitude problem and takes it to his ego.
Just the problem is that I'm a C1 digital employee. Now I can't even ask for a grade update to C2 and I feel like he will give me a C band in next cycle.
Did I mess up big time by saying that? Any suggestions and comments are welcome! Thanks guys.
I also faced similar situation recently I was put on a new team “temporarily” to help out with some extra projects. The manager told me it was only going to last a few weeks, so I didn’t think much of it. Fast forward a few months, and suddenly I’m expected to manage two additional projects full-time.
After realizing how much it was eating into my core work, I decided to set some boundaries and told my manager that I didn’t see value in continuing with these side initiatives. Next thing I know, he's going around saying I have an “attitude problem” just because I tried to protect my own workload.
Now the kicker—I’m stuck as a C1 employee and can’t even push for a grade promotion. I’m also worried he’s going to hit me with a low rating in the next review cycle. Feels like a no-win situation at this point.

Experience le ke switch karo aur naya offer manager ke muh pe maro.. Khatam baat
Try to switch as soon as possible. 60 percent C1 digital will get C band next year
