Rant post after flat search for weeks in Bellandur

I’ve been searching for a decent 2 BHK flat in the Bellandur area for the past couple of weeks, and I am completely frustrated with the situation. The flats are tiny (the owners claim they’re 1200 sqft, but when I visit, most are no more than 600-700 sqft), old buildings with poor amenities. They also want to do the agreement showing only 70% of the rent, with the rest to be paid in cash. On top of that, there are all sorts of restrictions on visitors. I’m just exhausted and disappointed.

Bellandur is the one where Indians have accepted lower quality and a lower standard of life by living in a pile of dust. It floods often and lacks water supply

Faced the same issues. High Rent.
Better to search elsewhere imo.

You can look around sarjapur near D-Mart. Rent will be same but you will get good flats and travel is also easy from that side of sarjapur to all tech parks.

Is Shobha apartments are expensive? I’m asking for myself too. Since it’s been 1 week I have shifted to Bangalore. (Bellandur). I’m living in that area right now.

Cross silk board and you will find life. Worked 3 years out of etv and commuted up and down. You need to also see what's your life after office and not in office. If it's 2-3 days office a week, just doing stay near office
