I have 6 years of experience in cognizant,I have recently submitted resignation due to internal conflicts. The way they treat the resources are horrible and their corporate political game is very cheap. There should be 5 resources in my techstack for our project, but saying we need to optimize the team they removed 2 resources. 1 resource at mrng shift and 2 at evng shift which makes 3 of us to work like hell everyday we used to work more than 12 hrs. And there is new upgrade happening in the project they loaned 1 more resource to the upgrade. And now only 2 resources are working at 5 people's task. What's more horrible is, in this 2 one of the resource got associate promotion and now they are replacing her with a fresher saying we Don't have a billing for 1 more associate. And now they expect me to take all the tasks literally they are dumping everything on me, and I raised concern my manager and TL says if we say you must do we are the TL and Manager you should do as we say. Is it really normal for them to talk like that! I'm not a person who is ditching work I'm someone who can work whole 3 days if required, If any production issue comes I would be the first person addressing it and I would be the face of team in front of client. After how they talked I asked release my manager said OK! Fortunately, I received good offer and submitted resignation. The company didn't even tried to retain me when I received new offer initially I hesitated even though it's a gud offer. I was stupid to be emotional toward this company as it's my first company. But now I understood there is no place for emotion like this in this corporate world. But it is surprising for me, The cognizant that I know is not like this.
