Rant - FANG Interviews and Offers

what is this weird culture of FANG these days? got interviewed for a position with on of the companies, here’s my rant.

• HRs don’t have the decency to revert back promptly for feedback for even if it’s positive.

• Interviewer not opening up the webcam but asking you to even share your screen, webcam and even your property papers if they can.

• Lowballing offers, Got an offer which is not even close to the current TC, and yes we had the current compensation discussion beforehand.

• Quoting some numbers before the interviews and giving a 20-30% lesser offer after the interviews. This is when the candidate received strong hire.

I don’t know where as a job market we are heading towards, but FANG culture has been on a downwards path. Got interviewed with them around 4 years back and i can see things are not the same now.
