Trending @HCL; Random HR Call Asking SAP ID – Is This Normal?

Hi All,

Today I received a random call from an HCL HR who asked me whether I have joined HCL and also requested my SAP ID. I had already joined last month and was directly hired into a project.

Has anyone else experienced a similar call recently? Is this a standard process or some kind of cross check heck that HR does post joining?

How do you know it is HR, did you verify her number in Teams ?

It's just the third party , generally they get commission for their referred hiring . Nothing to worry or you can ignore them
