Trending @Cognizant; Ran into a huge problem? Please guys need help/suggestions.
My current project is ending on 1st Jan 2026. I got a new project, through my Senior Manager's acquaintance. However, I refused politely citing my career goals didn't align with the role.
Now my manager is asking why I refused to which i had replied (from a position of fear) that i might resign once my current assignment gets over. The manager said that HR has to be informed that i refused.
Did i run into a problem? What can I expect from HR? Will there disciplinary action/hearing?
Nah ignore for now. And call your manager later or better have face to face connect and inform him politely. Meanwhile keep searching for jobs
I can see in the TMP portal that I am an ADP policy exempt becuz i am PA with 2 yoe. So the usual bench won't apply. right? I will keep looking for projects. Thanks tho!!!
