Rajasthan Govt High court job or TCS?

Right now I'm working in TCS for past 3 months, now I have cleared govt job also for system assistant and now I'm confused for which to go after? System assistant have fixed pay for 2 yrs for probation period and lesser than even TCS ninja salary. Also if I leave tcs now then i have to pay 50k also. For career aspect govt job really dont have any while i have some possible career aspect in TCS, if not in TCS then obviously i can switch and get another tech. But there is no tech and just kind of admin job. In my opinion right now I am more leaned towards TCS because of carrer aspects and I kind of believe that I have something in my hand that after preparing and updating my skills i could switch and get higher paying job and good tech stack. Whereas in govt job after every year just around 1 to 2k is increased and there is no direct promotion or even if I want to switch from govt job then it will be difficult for me due to no relevant experience.

Does anyone have any suggestions or any ideas about which should i select?

Think on the lines Where will you be in TCS/any other IT company after 5 years.
Compare payment and lifestyle.

What about after 10 years.

What about after 15 years.

What about last phase of 20 years.

Will the new job provide you the flexibility to travel to onsite and settle ?

Will the new job allow you the flexibility to settle in new cities in India.

Assume you switch minimum 5 companies in your span of 20 years of service, how much growth will you have.

Are you thrilled for working in high court or thrilled for working in an IT company learning new stuff and working on big projects.

To grow in IT, switch companies and pivot on your tech.

Nobody is forcing you to stay on same tech stack and same company.

Think long term happiness, job thrill, growth oppurtunities and experiences.

But if i want to give my resignation then do i need to serve notice period as well? Because i will be paying 50k for breaking the bond of 1 year of service. Is notice period applicable in 1st year as well?

Given that you haven't made up your mind. Think about how easy it is to get into TCS and how easy it is to get into High Court Govt job. Obviously, getting into Govt job in High court is extremely tough. There are lot of factors at play, and due to extremely high unemployment you should understand it very well that LUCK has been on your side to get this High court job.

Now, it would be a foolish decision to leave that Govt job for a mere subpar company like TCS, which is changing its genes right now. Job security is going to be a myth in coming times in TCS. While staying in the High court govt job, you may prepare for higher designations easily like civil services etc. You will not get that much of time and free mind in TCS. So, go for an option which is more difficult to get in terms of probability. And, take the wise one, as opportunity doesn't knock twice. You can get into TCS or any other IT company later also easily, but I am not sure if you will be able to get a Govt job like that easily later, because it is not just talent, there is a bigger play of Chance/Luck as well. All the best!

First of all thank you for taking out your time and explaining the things.

And I do understand that it is quite difficult to get govt job, and also luck plays a greater role here. And working here in TCS I have get to know how things work here and got your point about TCS being changing its genes. Also in govt job in next few years I will be becoming programmer and analyst. So I've been considering future aspects as well. Right now neither the post, nor the salary is that great in high court but future aspects are really high.

So for now after talking with many people, discussing with family and hearing your explanation as well I have decided to go for govt job.

Seeing your detailed explanation, I can tell you have good explanation skills. Tcs is just like any other govt job which provides job security so I suggest you can stay in tcs and try again for better govt jobs with higher salary and grade this time.
