
Raising Grievance for release
I recently joined tcs as a fresher and they put me in service desk. I graduated from Artificial Intelligence. Even i got selected to apple project in Tcs for application developer but still they are forced me to take service desk as they allocated me first. I fell very demotivated and stressed here . I want to raise grievance is it a right thing. Please tell i fell stuck here

Check your offer letter and see if it was mentioned in the offer letter before

In my offer letter it ITIS. I thought i will get technical role in support role. But in service desk i am taking calls it is complety non technical

Only truth will help you buddy, Do not hide other details u r hiding. Then only folks can help u with more clarity

If you are graduated from AI then you can present your case to Hr telling him/her everything you are concerned about if there are any issues with the backend or human error then it will get resolved .Hope you have not given interview in wrong openings and you are not bsc bca graduated as mostly they only got assigned this kind of roles in tcs .

I have been in bench for less than 2 weeks i even got another project but still they forcefully allocated me to this service desk . When i was in bench i got a mail regarding hr discussion when i went it is a drive and they allocated me. I even said i am not interested but still they didnt listen to me and forced me to join

Okay if you already have opportunity to join the another project I would say just send mail to Service desk manager telling that My aspiration is this and I got project with same technology but I have been forced to join this project make it little bit emotional and ask for release . See I would say just take your stand no matter how much they break just don't say anything wrong to anyone just take steps politely and make your way . Just fight ✌️

Speak to your project management team/HR on your concerns and they would help you to transition to your desired role. If not you have no option other than wait for few years or quit but keep upskill yourself

They are not listening and our project is completely service desk so i am thinking of raising grievance

If you want to raise grievance you need to be very strong and stick to your point. There will be lots of people out there trying to distract you when you have that discussion. They will outright reject your plea in the first discussion and think you will give up. But you have to prove them wrong and keep escalating your grievance up to the highest level till you get justice. If you think you can do it go for it. I think everyone should raise grievance. This organisation is a perfect machine for destroying careers.

If you have done your graduation in artificial then work on your cv and leave from tcs

No one listen its TCS
