Raising a Workplace Concern: Micromanagement

It’s tough staying focused and productive when every move gets second-guessed. Being micromanaged by people outside your role or function — especially when things are already running smoothly — can be demotivating.

There needs to be more respect for boundaries and expertise — trust should be the default, not control.

Trust matters. Autonomy matters. If we’re all professionals, let’s act like it.
