Quiet-Fire a reality.
I have heard of the term quiet fired from others who are working in different organisations. Never expected this will be done in TCS.
Creating a toxic work culture, Compulsory RTO, less hike % now even heard about salary deductions. People working extra hours even after shift timings. If they want us to leave then I think this is the best time to switch. 40% minimum hike outside, hybrid culture and what not.
Dropped my papers one month before. Thank god I did not waited for appraisals. Please guys, get serious now.

If switching was easy then everyone already did.

I resigned last month after serving 14 years in TCS as my first company. People say I did it too late. I see it as the right time, there is nothing early or late. For me it happened when I realised that the management been working with since last few years is just giving a lollypop. My 2 cents to the lesser experienced - Never follow the herd. Don't switch because everyone else is switching. It should come from within. You will get that trigger somewhere down the line.

Hi Brother, that trigger should have come to you sooner if you weren’t so busy spending time in the comfort zone. TCS is paying peanuts and playing politics since the 2008. The promise of job security and onsite is why everyone stays in the company even they know they are being treated poorly. I hope you were able to get a pay correction. Because some of my friends who are in tcs with 13-17 years is experience, are underpaid.

Just put my paper. after getting huge 4% hike

Did you have any offer in hand when you put paper?

Yes. I knew hike would suck hence started preparing from Jan itself.

Smart

I'm moving out soon, thankfully.

The problem is now we will get increment based on this reduced ctc
