Hi Everyone,
I have been with Accenture for the past 3 years in the Accounts Process. I joined here as a fresher who started a career on the same. Initially I was getting 17k and now I am earning 18.5k (Monthly). Is this the way Accenture gives a hike to the employee who started here at a fresher level?. A guy from our team who is earning 48k monthly but has less experience than me but who already has experience of 2 years in a diff organisation. However, the level of work is equal and the targets are the same. My question here am I underpaid? or am I expecting a lot from Accenture ? or is this the salary structure.

Your salary always depend on initial salary.You joined at very low. Minimum is 28k per month as fresher. But now as you mention you have completed 3 years so you should have get atleast 30-40% salary hike. So yes you are underpaid. If you have skills try to switch and ask for your worth.

Yes, correct for the Chennai location the 18k is not even enough but we can pay PG for our stay.. I did ask my TL and Supervisor but they asked me to switch the company if needed. But I am unsure, i love this company which is why I am still sustaining here hoping I will get a hike 🥺

I would suggest to switch because we all have families to feed and 18k is not that good.
