Learn to write good english. And speaking english too. Most Software Engineers write such poor english. I think english writing is underrated, english speaking is obviously highlighted many times, and rightly so. All this of course comes in play only after your technical competence.

Communication skills yes , also personal grooming , even though wfh has reduced it , people still remember you if you are looking groomed , this you can get from YouTube. And hands on experience in presentation, a lot of juniors when they join they are up and ready to present whatever they have worked upon while others shy away . It shows your eagerness to grow and skill cause people assume if you are ready to present it to others you must be really good in your work .
