Questions about AI-assisted coding — scalability, efficiency, and code ownership

I’ve been going through a lot of videos and articles on AI-assisted coding and the idea of “vibe coding.” While it’s fascinating to see how quickly AI can generate working applications, a few questions keep bothering me:

  1. If I build a product using AI-generated code, will I be able to scale it later without major issues?

  2. How do we ensure efficiency and performance improvements in the long run?

  3. Since a company’s codebase is its most valuable asset, how safe is it to rely on AI tools — especially when dealing with critical issues that might require sharing parts of the code with the model?

  4. Everyone talks about building apps faster with AI, but not much is said about scalability, efficiency, or security of that code.

  5. Even if the AI-generated code “works,” how can we be confident it’s optimized and efficient, rather than just functionally correct?

It depends on your prior experience (knowing exactly what the ai is coding) If you don't know what you/ai are doing, it's 100% gonna break in the long run, especially in production.
Btw you should frame your questions better, for each to have exclusive answers.

Your questions don't make sense at all.

You're asking if the code written by AI will be scalable in the future or not. Whether it will be efficient or not?

It depends , AI is not magic. It's as good as the person who wields it.

Do you know how to code? Do you know what to build ? And do you also know if how you're building it is scalable/efficient? If your answer is yes , then yes.
