Trending @Accenture; Question: why Kolkata sick leave policy is so bad, is there any way to utilise without half pay salary cut??
Is it true all other companies in Kolkata has same sick leave policy?
I have joined Accenture from TCS and I can tell you that there is no such rule in TCS regarding SL as we see in Accenture.
That's bcoz Accenture is currently following state labour laws whereas other companies don't , Accenture only used to have a single policy uniform across the country but apparently somebody sued them lol
And we dont even get 2× or 1.5× more sick leaves
No way to skip this, it is imposed by the local government rather than Accenture, in fact I heard Indore has a sandwich leave policy, if you take leave on Friday and Monday 4 days will be deducted from your leave balance.
Welcome to laws of kolkata, I was also shocked after seeing it while in other places they dont cut your half pay for that day here they do
Pune mumbai nagpur doesn’t even have sick leaves - we had previously but according to new labour laws imposed we dont have now - and states in south have all leaves sick leaves casual leaves earn leaves
