Question to men - Why do men send matches and then unmatch within a day on dating sites. Sometimes it’s even without a conversation.

The match rate for men is very low compared to women.

A man has to swipe right on dozens or hundreds of profiles, to get a single match. So men don't have enough time to look at any profile in detail before swiping right.

So while doing bulk swiping, most men will look at a profile picture for only 1-2 seconds before they swipe right on it.

Then later for the few profiles on which they actually get a match, they can take the time to look at the profile in detail. At that point, if they discover some red-flag / dealbreaker, they will unmatch that profile.
