Hello fellow HRs, I’d like to get your thoughts on candidates with a 90-day notice period.

Would you reject a candidate solely because of this notice period?

Even if the candidate clears all interview rounds, would you extend the offer or consider revoking the offer due to the long notice period ?

Also, more questions to HR if someone actually answers -
There is a guy with 90 days NP, and they cleared interviews with flying colors.
There is another candidate who also cleared interviews with flying colors and they can join earlier, i.e. let's say within the next 15 days.
Why would the HR wait for the first guy 🤔

But if an employee resigns based on the confirmation and then they revoke the offer letter, that also doesn't make sense right ?
