Trending @Accenture; Question for Level 8,7,6. Please guide

If a Level 9 employee is onboarded to a client project that is highly stressful, where the other team members are junior and not fully capable of handling the work, the Level 9 employee may eventually realize that the situation is unmanageable. Despite making every effort to improve the team composition and requesting suitable resources, no appropriate replacements are provided.

In such a scenario, the Level 9 employee may feel that raising a resignation (“putting papers”) is the only way to exit the project, even though they do not want to leave Accenture. If this happens, what is the worst that Level 8, 7, or 6 managers can do?

Can they force the employee to continue working on the project, or is it the management’s responsibility to find a replacement? What are the possible consequences for the employee in this situation?

The L9 resource only option is to resign in this case and no one can stop them to do so. The roll off isn't possible, as Accenture pays very less and at this salary you'll get these type of resources only.

No one can force anyone to work on any project against their will. If you are not happy with the project, ask for a roll off. They might initially say no and give reasons and all but if they don’t agree, you can always raise concerns to your TFS and HRPA POC. They are required to support you and get you another project. Worst case, they will mark you as a refusal case in SMART which is not a big deal if you can find a new project. Resignation is the last resort. You have many options before that.

Thank you for the information. I’m also concerned about the refusal tag
