Most IT parks/buildings are owned by politicians. Houses are shops are owned by babus. If there are no traffic jams, there is no need for flyovers, no new projects means political fundings dries up.
If everyone works from home, they loose money.

2 times week, means you need to live in the city. You cannot work from a village/ or far away place. and yet 3 time a week WFH is nothing but slowly tightening the noose to bring back every one to office. A slowdown happening now, will be the trigger. companies will use this to make everyone back to office , for "innovation".
