Query regarding Retention Bonus

I received revised compensation letter regarding retention pay restructuring. My only question is whether we will receive entire amount of retention bonus this july for 2024-25 period considering i joined in july 2023. Ideally we should get full retention bonus in July month salary and starting from Aug it should be on monthly basis. Am i right?

Yes you should get that amount and these changes will happen from aug 1. From last month this changes happened to those who joined on June also and they got retention amount of 24-25
