Query regarding Promotion workflow
Hi All, I want to understand how the promotion workflow happens.
In this case, the promotion was initiated when I was in one BG and it moved to the HR queue - meaning Manager and reviewer approvals completed. Due to the project ramp down, I was released and I further joined a project in another BG based on the requirements. Now which HR will take action on the initiated promotion? Will it automatically be under the new BG HR? or will it still be with the old one?
Please share your knowledge in this matter.
NB: I am already disappointed with the band and promotion is my only hope which is also already delayed.

It wont progress when you change projects.
Your new manager may need to initiate again.
Long story short - your promotion chances are less likely now
