Query Regarding Notice Period Policy for C3B Associates
I am a C3B associate, and due to the current uncertainty within TCS, I am exploring external opportunities. However, the standard 3-month notice period is proving to be a challenge, as it is affecting the shortlisting of my resume by potential employers.
I currently have an offer where the organization is willing to wait for up to 45 days.
Could you please clarify the general trend or policy at TCS regarding early release for C3B employees? Is there any possibility of shortening the notice period under such circumstances?
In the current layoff situation, I think they would release you ASAP if you request it.
Simple fact, if there is too much dependency on you and no KT given to new person joining your team, you won’t get early release from project. If very less dependency then you can ask for early release from project, then on bench you can get out early
Come to bench and then resign you will be released within 30 days many people are doing this
Are Billable C3B resources in problem?
Take project release...once on bench u can be released early
If you are in account, even if you are working they release only after 90days. If are Rmg immediately released. So ask for release or long leave then apply for a job. If you have salry less than 15 lakhs there is a high chance of getting job
If you are on bench then you don't have to serve notice 90 days period. If you are allocated ask for release and try to buy back. If your manager is good they they might release you else don't perform and get escalation from client. At the end they understand you won't perform and get maximum escalation so definitely release you.

It’s 3 months only , I resigned as C3b and they are not ready before 90 days . So enjoying
