Query regarding DDO Leaves

As per client instructions we are required to take DDO leaves. However, I've heard that we need to apply for leaves even if we don't want to take them. Additionally, the number of leaves given by the client is quite high, and if we apply for these leaves, it would consume a significant portion of our available leaves in TCS. Can someone clarify if this is valid as per TCS policy? Looking forward to guidance on this matter and how it would impact our leave balance.
