Query regarding annual income in payslip for Aug

Annual income mentioned in Aug payslip is very less than the actual but I received the net pay amount correct. Is this a mistake and how can we sort this out? Will it affect in anyway going forward?

If your annual income on the payslip is less but net pay is correct, it's likely a reporting error. Contact HR immediately. Ignoring it could mess up your year-end tax calculations.

Yes..also I raised ticket to get the clarity for same and they explained Annual income is the projected income for the entire FY. It will adjust if lwd falls before that.
