Trending @Cognizant; Query on salary package

I have 8 yrs of experience. My current CTC is 11LPA..I got 17 LPA offer from service based company. Then I got selected in product based US company and requested them for 22LPA. They told they have certain bands for each role and they will provide hike based on that. I will be getting offer details in couple of days. But I heard they usually pay really well. Is there any possibility that it will be less than my current offer?

Product based companies usually offer higher pay compared to service based and as you already have an offer , you will be offered certainly more than the existing offer

not sure, it happened with me when I demanded just a lac more than service based company and then they never reverted back.

But they openly told they cannot offer 22LPA and informed me that they will give best from their end. They wished me to join their company. HR told offer will be released in 2days
