Query on promotion
Hi, If you get promoted in April month does Appraisal+Promotion increment you get or only promotion increment?
No Promotions happening anymore in TCS and there are max chances that hikes will not be provided in April similar to last year considering greedy management.
Idk who told you this but promotions are on hold and there is a huge back log.
So the moment they unfreeze they would either have to give everyone promotion. The majority of the folks here are due for it. (Pretty sure wont happen otherwise the promotion would be meaningless.)
The most likely passing will be that promotions would be done based on political favoritism in which case it will be a bootlicking shit show and those without backing will lose out alot.
Better than going for politics, wasting time bootlicking, put in papers, and jump. The ROI aint worth it and every month waiting is an increment lost.
