Hi, I see many people at wipro having 3 months NP if someone had joined wipro approx 7 years back and the offer letter for employment which was received that time mentions notice period of 2 months so what will be notice period in this scenario?
2 months only
As per my knowledge, the employee who has joined j years ago has already the offer stating the agreement of 2 months. So, his official NP would be 2 months only. 10 years ago it is 1 month I guess. Whatever the NP you have signed in the offer letter is final.
Even if your current organization changes it's terms in NP, that applies only to the new employees. Not the old employees

I was also seeing 3 months notice period on separation portal and then i got it reduced to 2 months as per my offer letter by asking this to HR
