Trending @Infosys; Query: Manager Approval Still Pending Despite HR Validation – Need Clarity on Exit Process

Hi, I initiated my e-separation request a few weeks ago. HR validation has been completed, but my reporting manager has still not approved the request. Given her current stance, I don’t expect any cooperation going forward.

I need clarity on the following points: • What are all the clearances involved after HR validation and what are the action expected from me? • If the manager doesn’t approve the request by the LWD, will it get auto-approved by the system? • What steps should I proactively take to ensure a smooth and timely exit? • After the LWD, what is the usual timeline for receiving the relieving letter and full & final settlement?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has faced a similar situation. Thank you!

There are loads of clearances, bit all of them happen on the last day Yes, the resignation will be autoapproved on the designated date. Managers don't approve because they will again have to approve in case you want to take back papers. Currently, that option is open to you without any additional approvals
FmF settlement and letter comes from Bangalore, usually after 1.5 months of your LWD

Nothing to do from your side now, just enjoy 😀

On last date there are a lot of stuff though, you'll start getting mails from concerned departments

Don't worry they will approve by last working week or even on LWD in some cases. As you see once it is approved you won't be able to withdraw your resignation that's why they stretch it to last.
