Trending @Cognizant; Query about promotion

Actually Today I just allocated a new project which is starting from 1st September.

Actually my query is regarding the Billability role. Before this new project my Billability role was always a "Programmer Analyst" for every previous projects but for this new project my Billability role is showing as "Associate".

So I just wanted to ask, will I be getting a promotion from PA to A when this project starts? Currently I have 2.2yrs of experience and I am PA (Jr. Software engineer).

Its just the way to tell client hey we are appoiting a associate role person to the project so to getting billing from client. No impact on your compensation

Same query to me as well, i was also programmer analyst as bilability role, but now in new project I'm having bilability role as associate, i completed my 2 years on aug 11, so i have asked my manager yesterday, he said he'll check and let me know if fullfill the criteria, then he will nominate me for promotion, but many people are saying that the criteria is just for excuse, otherwise many are getting promoted without seeing any criteria, hope so i get it this cycle ✌️

Tomorrow is the last date for nomination, so ping your manager again and remind him again about promotion. Best of luck

For nomination it happens every month? Or its quarterly

naah you would be paid peanuts but clients would be billed for an associate, the difference would go to cognizant and that would be used for paying up some manager's salary and other miscellaneous expenses. this is business.

What's your aging before allocation. Is your technology on demand? What's the bench situation in cognizant

Ageing was 14 days, the situation is too bad. I just got the project because i sent too many cold mails to managers and sr. Managers and one of them took my interview.
