Quarterly Variable Pay News
Dear colleagues,
As I step into my role as your CHRO, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude. I want to thank each one of you for your resilience and commitment and for personifying the values that we hold dear at TCS, as we journey together through this period of rapid transformation.
I am pleased to share with you that the annual salary hike was rolled out for associates in grades up to C3A & equivalent, effective Sep ’25, with high performers receiving double digit increments.
As we embrace an AI-first culture, we continue to invest in our world-class learning ecosystem, with personalised learning pathways. The number of employees skilled in higher-order AI/ML skills doubled to 159,000 YoY (Q2 FY25-Q2 FY26). Let us work together to make TCS the largest AI-led tech services company.
QVA for Q2 FY26 We have announced our results for Q2 of FY26, and we have delivered steady growth. Thank you for your contribution. All employees up to C2 grade (or equivalent grades) covered under the Quarterly Variable Allowance (QVA) plan will receive 100% of the QVA.
The individual pay-out for C3A grade & above (or equivalent grades) may vary, depending on business performance. I am glad to inform that the overall QVA payout for this segment will be higher than the previous quarter. The actual payout will depend on the unit performance.
My best wishes to you and your loved ones for the upcoming festive season.
I look forward to connecting with you on Friday, 10th October during the CEO Connect virtual townhall. Do post your questions and we will do our best to answer them.
Warm regards, Sudeep Kunnumal CHRO

This seems intentional to force exit C3B and above with no perks and hikes..

If they expect all juniors will do work, do this as an experiment. Turn tables and let juniors handle eveything in project as they usually think all seniors are anyways useless.

And no body knows the pain of getting work done out of the younger generations in most cases. There are of course people with passion for coding and are committed. But the numbers are small. As far as I understand people management is something which is very critical and also something which is given least priority. People management in a positive sense considering the benefit of both parties involved. Might as well be in an Utopian world for some. But I have worked with great leaders who genuinely take interest in their teams.

C3b and above are getting majorly shafted. And please anyone who is not yet here, don't just assume all those c3b and above are rich Shiekhs. They don't have high salaries and they have families to feed, fees to be paid.

C3B and above no hike this year
