It is the middle of the night and I am seriously troubled by the quality of life in India.
Woke up to a post by the society manager that the water crisis is going to be big this year - after paying so much in tax, rent, now incur additional water charges. What else - air tax?
There is no regulation to protect our rights as citizens - not for access to clean water, not for right to safety on roads, not for right to clean air, not for right to proper rentals. What will it take for the govt. to make the lives of their highest tax-paying segment - a little bit better?
There are stray dogs howling in the street every night at 12, and all we can do after waking up in anger, is just shout at them.

Quality of Life Index: According to Numbeo's 2025 rankings:
Luxembourg: Quality of Life Index - 220.1
Denmark: Quality of Life Index - 209.9
Netherlands: Quality of Life Index - 211.3 These countries score higher than India, reflecting better QoL.
But for me, India outperforms the mental peace bcoz of the root we have here since childhood. You can move to some xyz country and give it a try for a while, if you are financially stable.
