Quality at major Food chains diminishing?

I recently ordered the classic Stuffed Garlic Bread from Domino’s, and it honestly just felt like eating plain, dry bread. It lacked the flavor and richness I remember from 8 years ago. I’ve noticed the same decline in taste with McDonald’s, KFC, and Burger King too—nothing hits the same anymore.

With recent iodine tests revealing that the paneer used in some pizzas and burgers might be fake, it really makes you question the quality of ingredients being used.

And with all this going on, how are their sales not dropping?

It's called en-shittification. Though the word is for online service. It's apt here

I have another theory. When we are younger our taste buds are more receptive. But they die as we age. So it might be that we are all getting older and don't enjoy the taste of fast foods anymore

The reason why these folks' sales don't drop is because they have such a huge customer base that they are "too big to fail"

We have a huge youth population enter work force every year. With fresh cash in hand and the staunch belief in YOLO life, they eat any shit.

Costs across board have doubled , in some cases even more.. The shitty lying two face gvmt itself acknowledged 6% inflation at a point, but the price of Pizza have stayed flat. How? they serve shit.

Many of us under estimate the size of our population. Our niche markets are the size of many eastern EU countries. A guy raised 30CR. to sell bubble tea. each costing 250/-. so yes, that much money and people are sloshing around the economy.
