I am a quality engineering associate, it's been a year, I am from a non-tech background,and I am under the impression that getting into SAP would be a good decision, but I am not sure how to make that change and how to shift internally, can someone help me with a road map or process of how to land in a SAP project, + would SAP BTP be a good choice?

First, learn SAP basics and choose a module like ABAP or BASIS. Get certified. Inform your manager about your interest. Start with dual roles (QA and SAP) and gradually transition.
