Pwc India Advisory vs Accenture Strategy and Consulting

Hi Everyone,

I currently work in Accenture ATCI. I come from a technical background with a strong desire to learn the functional aspect of my job.

I am holding an offer from Pwc India Advisory, to which Accenture is offering me a role in strategy and consulting with no salary increment. Which has put me in a dilemma on which role to take up.

My top priority is learning the consulting aspect while delivering technical requirements.

Hence reaching out to learned folks like you, who could help me understand how the job culture and opportunities are in Pwc.

No point switching without any increment what so ever. Worse you’ll be missing out the Bonus for the current year. It will be a lose-lose situation for you.
From a learning perspective, stay patient and wait for better opportunities which will surely be coming in your way shortly! Don’t ever switch below 30% increment.

They is no point joining S&C if your salary will be same. Go with PWC

A good option would be to go ahead for the PwC opportunity if there is a noticeable salary increase.
Once you resign and explain that you are also looking for a salary increase, not just a change of roles, it might pressurize your current employer to try and retain you.

No guarantee that they would, but worth a try.

Check with your AD or even negotiate with your MD, as they would have given this offer for a better pay package in Accenture. Go ahead with what you feel bro.
