PWC India- you need to calm down
π¨ Rant Alert π¨
Recently, I appeared for a technical round at PwC. It went on for more than an hour β deep, detailed, and highly technical. A few days later, HR called me again for another technical round.
When I asked why, the answer was: βThe interviewer needs to reassess you.β Honestly, that was the moment I decided to step back.
Look, if Iβve already been working in the exact same domain at EY β a market leader β under a partner who is highly respected across the firm and industry, and if Iβve survived 2+ years here with strong ratings, increments, and variable bonuses, I think itβs fair to assume I know my work.
Hiring managers and HRs really need to reflect. Repeated reassessments donβt show thoroughness β they show a lack of clarity in process. Candidates deserve respect for their time and experience.
Grow up, and please donβt try to act oversmart. The market sees through it.
