Pune as city for career growth and settling down there?

I have gotten an offer for Pwc Pune and have to negotiate for salary. How is the city, in terms of career growth and acceptance? Are the living conditions bad? Are the people mostly local or are there people from outside as well? I practically know no one there.

Any tips, warnings or advice?
