PSA: FAANG is not all glamour, it sucks

The money looks good because inflatable CTC, duh. There are tons of companies that will match(and exceed the pay) and won't make you jump through a million loops. Also, what is with the fact that they continue to ask the stupidest brain teasers that has nothing to do with what i am supposed to do.

Let's admit it. Even if we got through the interview process, I have done no innovative work in my time here.

Anyone willing to echo this?

@FunnyBones Man I always imagined I would change the fucking world here. I used to do a ton of competitive programming and I imagined solving hard quantitative problems. But it is meh.

Maybe u’ll get that in faang if u were part of a team working on something from ground up. But even in that u should get good budget and have clear roadmap for it to be exciting for few months. Anyway, try startup next jump
