Trending @Cognizant; Pros and Cons of Non- billable Project

I've worked on a few that have been quite wonderful in terms of visibility. Global heads know my work and I'm preferred over other associates. I'm also in line for a promotion even though this entire year of mine was was almost non billable. All that matters is what kind of non billable project you're on.
