Trending @Accenture; Promotions and Hike - Latest Update

This year, the compensation tool is not allowing to give hikes for those who are recently promoted and who have above market competitive salaries.. For the rest also, the hike percentages are comparatively less if you already have a good package.. however, resources with below market packages have got good hikes if they are not an IP candidate.. it’s another sad year for most of us..

How they decide the market value? I m in level 11 getting only 5.65lpa 4yrs 10months in accenture. How much can I expect considering market correction happening this cycle?

If you get promoted, you might get around 20% hike. Else maybe around 10%

So it means, if you are already at a competitive price, don't put any extra effort into your work, just do your work and dont push for any certification and training like abcd reflection wants us to do. Because whatever I do I will not get any hike if Accenture thinks my salary is good enough. Alas!

That’s the saddest part with Accenture’s approach this year to decide on hikes… 😢

I think this is the same across the different organization's, I left IBM because of the same reason as I was getting peanuts in the name of hike cause I was having a compa ratio of more than 1 and then 1. In 2 years I got 6.4% hike in total. First year 1.4 % l, next year 5.

I am in level 10 getting 13.6 lpa 6+ year experience. How much hike can I expect considering market correction happening ? Will I get promoted to level 9 by any chance ?

PerkyTaco
PerkyTaco

If you are recommended for promotion based on slots available for your project and supervisor recommendation, you will get promoted.. if you are promoted, maybe around 15-20%. Else maybe around 10%

PerkyTaco

If project has extra budget, the talent lead/group lead can increase the hike percentage

If someone was promoted in the June cycle, is it possible to receive a salary hike in the December cycle?

PerkyTaco
PerkyTaco

Mostly there will no hike as it will not be editable for such resources.

PrancingPancake

Could you kindly clarify where it was confirmed that there would be no hike and these resources would not be editable?

Are you referring to promotion from level 12 to Level 11? Then it will be around 30-35

By mid November, you should be informed by your supervisor about the hikes and should see it in the tool- https://rewards.accenture.com once it’s released to you.. else it will reflect in tool by default on 1st Dec

Is it upto the people lead to release this statement? Do they have any cut-off date to release this?

PerkyTaco
PerkyTaco

Maybe from 0-10 since your package is already at market level.. if you get promoted, you should get around 10-20

This is so so sad. I have 5.4 YOE with just fixed as 7.9 LPA. I got promoted in June this year. Even after promotion, my salary is very very very low. And now no Hikes also?? Wow! Time to just resign and move on.
