Trending @Infosys; Promotion to JL5
I had joined infosys on Nov 2021 as Associate consultant and JL4. And I was promoted to Senior associate consultant in May 2023. When will i get promoted to JL5 and at Consultant designation?
When you move from JL4 to JL5 the salary structure will also be modified as per the level brackets. I dont think so the package will be the same. And to move from 4A to 5B it takes min. 2 years and max depends on many factors. You have been moved to 4A from 4B which is progression, generally takes an year or so. But to 5B is a promotion which takes more time.
It's a joke right I am getting a salary which is even less than 4A . After promotion Infosys failed to give me salary of 4A. Lol and here I am working in 4 projects . All 50% allocation.
It depends on many factors... if you joined wit low salary then you end up getting less than your peers of same level or sometimes below level. But after promotion, your package will be adjusted if your current salary doesn't fall under the new level brackets. Remember that always it's a range not a fixed number so there is variation if you compare with others.
The point is that are you getting the right compensation ? Do not push for JL5 unless u have an offer in hand , else you will be JL5 in JL4 salary
