I've joined Accenture about 2.5 years back, I was not happy with the work, discussed with my manager but no use.Then he shifted me to another team in the same project then in last I was expecting promotion but did not get after few days I got to know they put me into pip. I left the project after completing pip. Now in june cycle also I did not get promotion. Im disheartened. Please someone suggest something.

Kinda same thing. I was promised for promotion for last 3 cycles ans got nothing. Just got promoted in recent june cycle. But no satisfaction, so dropped papers. I realized not to wait for cycles to get promotion. If I think I deserve promotion/hike, i either communicate and wait one cycle or just resign. Our careers should pivot/progress based on our decisions, not on manager's.

If you got PIP then it means you were not performing well as per your manager. So promotions will be done only when you do good for 6 -12 months. Don’t get dishearten, if you have knowledge them drop paper and switch but if not then silently do your best without any promotion expectation

My performance was good, as confirmed by the manager I was working under. He appreciated my work and even during a budget issue, when others were laid off, he wanted to retain me. The manager who put me on a PIP was just a namesake manager and wasn’t involved in my actual work. Later I heard he did same thing with other team member (put him in pip ) just because he asked for release from project.
