Trending @Accenture; Promotion slots in August
I have been hearing rumours that promotion slots have come for the month of August across the projects !
Is it true and if true then have all the projects received such slots
Why in August month promotions is happened? It is in December and June cycle right? Why now?
That's the question which came in my mind and me post this , what is happening , will I ever get promoted or not
There are lots of people who have resigned because of less hikes in past few years. These are panic promotions to retain existing employees now
It's true. People are getting promotion based on performance but very less number of people. I also got promotion today. Only your delivery manager can make it possible to get you promotion, it's not based on oh u completed 2 year u will get default or you completed 3 year or so. I am even hearing that the concept of default promotion is removed. I am only talking about people below level 9. Other than those I don't know.

These promotions are effective from 1st of September. This is quarterly promotion cycle apart from main june and December cycles we have very few slots every year for these quarterly cycles
