Promotion query

I will be completing 3 years in TCS in may 2024. I was hired at C1Y grade which later changed to C1 after one year. Now, I'll be completing 2 years at C1 grade in may 2024 but my release from current project is scheduled on 12th April 2024. Will this affect my promotion? Should I discuss this with my current manager or with the new one to whom I'll be reporting to when I get allocated to a project?
