Trending @Infosys; Promotion on bench with zero projects in 3 years?

I know someone who got promoted without ever working on a project. She’s on bench since three years and also got commendable ratings and rise award. Is this normal?

She may be doing lot if unit level activities, per-sales work and operations. For those you need not be on project and gives you higher visibility

She is an engineer just graduated 3 years ago I don’t think she’s done anything like that I’ve never seen her working till yet in my life

People get terminated here if stayed on bench for than 6 months. Either she is active on accelerate tasks, or involved in skilling up activities which she didnt revealed them to you
