Promotion in TCS

Hi all , I want to know in TCS after hiw many years we will be getting promotion and how the workflow process goes. Like who will nominate for our promotion or how so its being judged.. can anyone clarify me in this. Thanks in advance.

I'd you don't ask you manager even if you complete 6 years they won't promote you

After 4 years you are eligible for promotion, and only the manager can initiate your promotion for you.
